1. Introduction
RenderBob (“we”, “our”) is a cloud rendering service for Blender and 3D projects, operated by TraynMe OÜ. TraynMe OÜ respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect in connection with RenderBob, why we collect it, how we process it, and what your rights are under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
By using our website and services, you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy.
2. Who we are
The data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is:
TraynMe OÜ
Registry code: 16776004
Email: [email protected]
For RenderBob-specific queries you may also contact us at [email protected].
We act as a data controller when we determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data through this website and the RenderBob service. If you submit data via our platform as part of your own service to others (e.g. your clients), you are the controller, and we act as a processor under your instructions.
3. What personal data we collect and why
RenderBob is a cloud rendering service for Blender and 3D projects. You upload scene files, we run renders on our cloud infrastructure, and you receive and download the rendered images, videos, and logs. We also offer an in-app AI assistant to help with render errors, company and billing management, referral credits, and optional features such as 3D generation. The data we collect is used to provide these services, process payments, and communicate with you.
We only collect personal data that is necessary for providing our services, operating our website, and communicating with users. The categories of personal data we may collect include:
Account and identity. When you sign up or log in (via our identity provider), we receive and store your name, email address, and a unique identifier. We use this to create and manage your account, link you to your company, and communicate with you.
Company and billing. If you use company features or billing, we may collect company name, billing address, billing email, phone number, and VAT number (where applicable). Payment processing is carried out by Stripe; we do not store your full card number. We store a Stripe customer ID and billing-related data only as needed for invoicing, credits, and fraud prevention.
Content you upload. To provide cloud rendering, we process files you upload (e.g. Blender scene files, archives, textures, and related assets) and the resulting render outputs (images, videos, logs). This data is stored in secure cloud storage (including, where applicable, in the European Union) and is used only to run your jobs, provide downloads, and troubleshoot issues.
AI assistant (“Bob”). If you use the in-app AI assistant for render help or error analysis, we store chat sessions and messages (your questions and the assistant’s replies). These may be processed by a third-party AI provider to generate responses. We use this data only to provide the feature and improve the service.
Referral programme. If you use referral codes or are referred, we process referral codes, redemption events, and, for redemptions, a hashed IP address and browser/device information to prevent abuse and to grant referral credits.
Usage and operations. We collect technical and usage data (e.g. IP address, browser type, and usage logs) for security, abuse prevention, and to operate the service. We keep activity logs of actions taken in the product (e.g. job submissions, settings changes) and API usage logs when you use API tokens.
Communications. We use your email and, where provided, your name to send transactional emails (e.g. welcome, job status, notifications) via our email service provider. We do not use your data for profiling or advertising.
We do not collect sensitive data (such as health information or political views) for the purposes of the service. We process your personal data only when we have a valid legal basis under the GDPR, including:
(a) to perform a contract with you, such as creating and managing your user account, running your render jobs, responding to your inquiries, or providing access to our services;
(b) to comply with legal obligations, including accounting, tax, or regulatory requirements;
(c) based on your consent, for example when you subscribe to our newsletter, provide optional feedback, or allow the use of non-essential cookies (you can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal);
(d) where necessary and proportionate, based on our legitimate interests, such as ensuring the security of our services and preventing abuse or fraud. We do this only when such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to ensure our website and application function properly. Where we offer optional features (e.g. saving preferences or game scores in your browser), we may use local storage; you can clear this in your browser settings. We may also use cookies and internal analytics tools to understand usage patterns and improve the site. These tools do not track or identify individual users across third-party websites.
You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
5. How we protect your data
We apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data, including access control, encryption, and secure hosting. Rendering and storage of your files and outputs are carried out using infrastructure in regions we designate (including, where applicable, in the European Union).
We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including legal and contractual obligations. Typically, your account and related data are retained for up to 24 months after your last activity.
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see section 8).
7. Data sharing
We may share your data with trusted service providers who help us operate RenderBob, including:
hosting and cloud infrastructure (e.g. for the application and for storing and processing your files and render outputs);
authentication (identity provider);
payment processing (Stripe);
email delivery and contact management (e.g. Brevo);
and AI/LLM services (for the Bob assistant, where applicable).
These providers process your data only on our instructions and are bound by strict confidentiality and data protection obligations.
We do not sell your personal data or share it with unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
(a) the right to access the data we hold about you;
(b) the right to request correction of inaccurate data;
(c) the right to request deletion of your data;
(d) the right to restrict or object to certain types of processing;
(e) the right to receive your data in a portable format;
(f) the right to withdraw consent if you have previously given it.
You can exercise your rights by contacting us at: [email protected] or [email protected].
We will respond within one month, as required by law.
9. Data breaches
In the event of a data breach that may result in a risk to your rights or freedoms, we will notify you and the supervisory authority without undue delay in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 of the GDPR.
10. Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we hold such data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external websites.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will publish the new version on this page with the date of the update.
Your continued use of our services constitutes your agreement to the revised Policy.
